Security Screening Information
Adelaide Airports security screening is managed by CERTIS Security.
There are three screening points at Adelaide Airport. Central Screening, for passengers. Northern and Southern for staff and goods.
Central Screening
Central Screening is the primary passenger security screening point. This security point should be used for travellers only, staff where applicable, but no deliveries are to be made via central screening.
Northern & Southern Screening Points
The Northern and Southern Screening Points provide secure staff and visitor access to restricted airport areas and goods screening services for approved deliveries.
Separate operating hours apply for staff access and goods screening. All goods screening bookings must be made in advance via MobileDock.

Northern Screening Point
Site Access Hours: Daily: 04:00 – 23:00
Goods Screening Operating Hours:
Monday to Friday: 07:00 – 12:00
Saturday & Sunday: Closed
Public Holidays: Closed
Location: The Northern Screening Point is located on the northern side of the terminal precinct, adjacent to the northern service road and close to airside access gates.
Southern Screening Point
Site Access Hours: Daily: 24/7
Goods Screening Operating Hours:
Monday to Friday: 05:00 – 13:00
Saturday: 05:00 – 09:00
Sunday: Closed
Public Holidays: Closed, except for Easter Saturday, when normal Saturday operating hours apply.
Location: The Southern Screening Point is located on the southern side of the terminal precinct, adjacent to the main service road and near the designated loading dock area.
MobileDOCK
MobileDOCK is Adelaide Airport's delivery booking system for managing deliveries to the Northern and Southern Screening Points. All goods screening appointments must be booked through MobileDOCK before arriving on site.
Once registered, you can schedule deliveries up to 14 days in advance, helping ensure efficient access, security compliance and timely processing of goods entering restricted areas.
Northern and Southern Screening Points
The Northern and Southern Screening Points are dedicated facilities primarily used for staff screening and goods screening. In some circumstances, these screening points may also be used to facilitate regional airline passenger screening.
Access is limited to:
- ASIC holders
- VIC pass holders
Third-party delivery providers may present goods for screening; however, only accredited ASIC or VIC holders can enter secure areas.
All deliveries presented at the Northern and Southern Screening Points are subject to:
- X-ray screening
- Explosive Trace Detection (ETD)
Once screening is complete, an ASIC or VIC holder must collect the delivery and transport it to its final destination.
Yes. Screening equipment can only accommodate items up to certain dimensions.
Maximum dimensions:
- 750 × 408 × 2400 mm
- 305 × 600 × 2400 mm
If you're unsure whether your delivery can be screened, contact the Airport Security team before arranging delivery.
Items that exceed the screening dimensions must be broken down into smaller bundles before arriving at the screening point.
Tenants are responsible for coordinating this with their delivery provider.
If an item cannot be broken down (for example, a large solid object), it may require additional hand screening using a security wand before it can enter a secure area.
